Multiple GPS Networks

Distribution of GPS receiver network in North America. It consists of more than 1,400 permanent GPS receivers (as of December 2006).

The GPS data used for deriving the TEC data are obtained via ftp servers of Continuously Operating Reference Stations (CORS), Scripps Orbit and Permanent Array Center (SOPAC), and International GNSS Service (IGS).
